Hope Assisted Living & Memory Care Center is located in peaceful, quiet Fayetteville, GA less than 20 miles South of Atlanta, GA. The community is focused on providing care and assistance to residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Surrounded by big skies and beautiful scenery, residents of the Hope Assisted Living & Memory Care Center benefit from living in secure, intimate, 16 person “villages” where they are cared for, respected and treated like members of the family.
Unlike many communities that care for residents with memory loss alongside residents with other conditions, the Hope Assisted Living & Memory Care Center is 100% dedicated to individuals suffering with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Because the center is solely focused on individuals with memory loss, residents benefit from more specialized care tailored specifically to their needs.
Each village is focused on providing a relaxed, peaceful environment where residents can receive the attention, care and companionship they need. Memory loss individuals take great comfort in regular routines and schedules, so each village is focused on providing the kind of consistency that makes residents feel more comfortable. Because there are various stages of memory loss, residents are grouped into villages with other residents in a similar stage so their needs can be more specifically addressed.
Each village features regular activities and events specifically designed to meet the needs of the residents within a particular village and at various stages of memory loss and cognitive function. Activities are designed not only to entertain and amuse, but also to help stimulate healthy brain activity and give residents an opportunity to communicate through art, music and self-expression. Though memories may be lost various activities can help bring memories back to the surface by stimulating a different part of the brain. These activities play an important role in helping residents feel more like themselves and gives an opportunity for visiting family members to share in those precious moments.
We strive to not only care for our residents, but for their families as well. Having a loved one that suffers with dementia and memory loss is a difficult, heartbreaking and confusing time for many family members. Because of this, we regularly offer educational sessions for families and caregivers that empower them with the information and skills necessary to assist and stay connected with their loved ones. We also encourage frequent family visits by providing numerous events throughout the year in which residents and their family members can participate in a range of activities all geared to our residents’ particular needs.
More than anything else we care about the safety and well-being of each of our residents. We take pride in creating personalized care plans that embrace the dignity of our residents while ensuring proper medication management, unique nutrition needs, and individual safety. We consider our residents our family and welcome each new member with a smile and open arms.
