We love that our staff do everything they can to make sure all our residents are included in fun activities. At our Hope Center Memory Care community in Fayetteville, Georgia, Activities Director Karlie Calhoun wrote to the Chick-fil-A, Inc. Headquarters explaining that the residents at Hope had memory loss and could not come to their local restaurant to celebrate Cow Appreciation Day.
Chick-fil-A’s Home Office contacted Hope’s local restaurant at Towne Center in Fayetteville and coordinated to send over representatives in Cow Suits with lunch for the whole community! Karlie and the other staff members at Hope decorated and provided masks and cow spots for the residents to wear.
“It was a lot of fun,” Karlie says about the event, “Everyone was so nice and I hope we can do it again soon.”
Hope Center Memory Care and Senior Solutions are grateful for Chick-fil-A employees Brent, Chris, Ben, Will, and Luke as well as Towne Center Chick-fil-A owner Doug Barnett.
Don’t be surprised if our residents decide to “Eat More Chikin”!
