Known for its charm and waterfront character, Little River is home to the historic Little River Waterfront, where residents can enjoy fresh seafood, local shops, and beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway. The area also hosts the popular Blue Crab Festival each year, celebrating coastal culture with food, music, and community spirit. Nearby beaches, golf courses, and nature areas provide endless opportunities for relaxation and recreation.

Meet Our Executive Director
Tommy Jackson, CRCFA
With over 30 years of experience in the senior living industry, I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of River Park, a role I have held since the community’s opening in 2019. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to fostering environments where residents feel valued, supported, and truly at home. My leadership journey has included serving as a Regional Director of Operations for a national senior living organization, where I gained extensive experience in building strong teams and enhancing quality of care across multiple communities.
I have also had the privilege of serving two terms on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Association of Residential Care Homes (now the SC Assisted Living Association). In recognition of my commitment to excellence in senior care, I was honored to be named South Carolina Administrator of the Year in 1997.
Before transitioning into senior living, I spent several years working in mental health and family counseling. This foundation continues to shape my compassionate, person-centered approach to leadership and care, emphasizing the importance of emotional well-being alongside physical health.
As a native of the Myrtle Beach area, I am deeply rooted in the community and have actively contributed to local nonprofit efforts supporting homebound seniors. I live here with my wife, Ginger, and together we are blessed with eight children and twelve grandchildren.
“Each day, I am inspired by the residents of River Park, whose stories, resilience, and smiles fuel my passion for serving others and creating a community where every individual can thrive.”
