Independent Living
Azalea Estates of Monroe is designed for seniors who are able to live independently but want the added care, support, and companionship of a senior living community setting. Our one-story, no stairs independent living community that is situated on more than five beautifully landscaped acres was built not only for those that need assistance but also for the independent senior.
Independent Living at Azalea Estates of Monroe has everything a neighborhood retirement community should have. Azalea Estates of Monroe provides the ideal solution for seniors who value their independence, yet need some assistance with daily activities. Our Resident Care program team members are available 24-hours a day for help with bathing, dressing, or other daily activities. This helps relieve residents and/or their adult family caregivers of the stress of day-to-day chores. Giving them more time to focus on choosing health and wellness activities or leisure activities provided at Azalea Estates, or trips shopping and to cultural events in the greater Monroe area.
Azalea Estates of Monroe is a Level 3 Adult Residential Care Provider and is licensed by the Department of Health and Hospitals of the State of Louisiana. Our staff members are trained to meet the needs of each assisted living resident while ensuring that every individual is treated with respect and dignity.

At Azalea Estates of Monroe, we offer memory care to residents in need in the greater Monroe area. We call our dedicated services and living area for our Memory residents, our Legacy Program.
We believe our evidence-based Memory Care can make a difference in the lives of our residents. It requires individualized support and research-based daily programming that focuses on the quality of daily life. Azalea Estates of Monroe provides a quiet, safe environment for your loved one. We start with whole-person support and build daily programming from there.
Our trained caregivers are on hand to plan and engage with residents with a daily calendar of activities specifically designed for those with memory loss. Our evidence-based activities, tailored to the unique needs of the memory impaired, help residents reconnect with their hobbies and interests, enabling them to continue to lead meaningful lives. These stimulating daily activities include group history and generational themed programming, music programs, yoga, exercise classes, movies, ceramics, arts and crafts, and therapeutic cooking classes.
